Lisbon is a city of light, color, and charm — but when it comes to photoshoots, the best spots aren’t always the ones packed with tourists.
Here’s a list of less crowded, photogenic places in Lisbon that offer a relaxed atmosphere and incredible backdrops for your session.
🌿 1. Jardim do Torel
A quiet hilltop garden with one of the best views over Lisbon — but without the crowds. With soft afternoon light, city rooftops, and trees, it’s perfect for couple or family shoots.
🎨 2. Largo da Graça (backstreets)
Away from the main miradouros, the streets behind Graça offer tiled façades, laundry lines, and rustic walls. Real Lisbon charm.
🚪 3. Alfama’s hidden alleys
Instead of shooting near the cathedral, explore the lower, quieter parts of Alfama. Think cobbled streets, old doorways, and a timeless vibe.
🌸 4. Tapada das Necessidades
This peaceful park is filled with nature, textures, and a slightly wild garden feel — amazing for lifestyle portraits or playful family sessions.
🏞️ 5. Quinta das Conchas
Located further north, it’s a local park with wide open green spaces and wooded areas. Great for children, natural light, and movement.
📷 Why avoid the main tourist spots?
Places like Praça do Comércio, Belém or Santa Justa are beautiful — but busy, noisy, and hard to relax in.
These alternative spots give us space, peace and time to create photos that feel like you.
