Group Photoshoot in Lisbon for Friends, Hen Weekends and Reunions
What a session for 3 to 10 friends depends on, where in Lisbon it works best, how to coordinate outfits and how to book it.
The price of a group photoshoot in Lisbon with us depends on two things: how long the session is and how many people are in it. The current prices are on the booking page, and this guide helps you choose the right length for your group.
Planning a group photoshoot Lisbon can fit into your trip? We photograph groups of 3 to 10: girls’ trips, hen parties (bachelorette weekends, if you are reading from the US), birthday trips and reunions. You get a local photographer, a route planned before you arrive and a private gallery within 7 days. This page covers the group side of it: what the price depends on, the best places, outfits and booking. For the current prices, see our booking page.
3 to 10 people, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The price depends on the session length and the number of people, and the current figures are on the booking page. Professional editing, a private online gallery within 7 days, full resolution without watermarks and location scouting are included.
How does a group photoshoot in Lisbon work?
A session is a guided walk of 30, 60 or 90 minutes through the places we planned for you. We meet at a spot agreed on WhatsApp and usually start with the full-group frames while everyone is fresh, then move on to smaller combinations: pairs, trios, the bride-to-be or birthday person with everyone around her, and candid moments while you walk and talk.
The photo counts are for the whole session, not per person. A group of eight on a one-hour session receives up to 40 edited photos in total, a mix of full-group pictures and smaller ones. That is worth knowing when you choose the length.
- Group size. 3 to 10 people. A session covers up to two people, more can join up to 10 in total, and the booking page has the details.
- Professional editing. Every photo in the gallery is edited, so nobody has to sort through raw files.
- Private online gallery within 7 days. Full resolution, no watermarks, so everyone can download their favourites and share the link.
- Location scouting. We choose the places and check the light. Prefer not to decide? The “Surprise me” option lets us choose the location.
Tell us how many of you there are and which dates you have, and we will check availability and confirm the details on WhatsApp.
Check availabilityHow much does a group photoshoot in Lisbon cost, and what does it depend on?
The figure depends on the session length and the number of people. There are three lengths, and a session covers up to two people, with more able to join up to 10 in total. The current prices and the exact terms for larger groups are always on our booking page, so you never have to work them out from a blog post.
The photo counts are for the whole session, not per person, so a longer session gives a bigger group more room to try combinations. Here is how we would match the length to the size of your group.
Two other things can change what you spend in total. If you want to go inside a paid monument, its entry ticket is a separate cost paid to the monument, and we are happy to plan a route that stays on the free streets, squares and viewpoints instead. Card payments carry a small processing fee; message us on WhatsApp if you would rather arrange another way to pay without it. Our Lisbon photoshoot cost guide explains what each session length includes.
The simplest way to share it: one person books and pays, and everyone else sends their share before the trip. The details are confirmed before you pay, so there are no surprises to divide afterwards.
Where are the best places for a group photo in Lisbon?
Groups need room. A viewpoint that is perfect for two people can feel crowded with eight, so we pick the setting around your group size. These three work best.
Praça do Comércio and the Rua Augusta Arch
A wide square with the arch behind you, so a big group fits in one frame without anyone stepping on a stair. It is usually busy at midday, so earlier or later slots are easier.
Best for: full-group pictures and larger groupsThe Tagus promenade by MAAT
Open space beside the river with the 25 de Abril Bridge in the background. There is room to walk, spread out and move quickly between poses.
Best for: golden hour, relaxed walking shotsSanta Luzia and the tiled miradouros
The tiled pergola over the rooftops is one of the prettiest backdrops in the city, but the viewpoint is compact. It suits smaller groups, and with more of you we use the nearby steps and corners.
Best for: three to five friends, rooftop viewsNot sure which side of the city suits your group? Our comparison of Belém vs Alfama for a photoshoot explains the difference, and the top photo spots in Lisbon list shows more options.
How do we coordinate outfits for a group photoshoot?
Coordinated does not mean identical. The aim is for the group to look like it belongs together while each person still looks like herself or himself.
- Pick a palette, not a uniform. Agree on two or three colours, such as cream, olive and terracotta, and let everyone choose their own piece within them.
- Mix solids and one pattern. If one person wears a print, the others stay plain so the group does not compete with itself.
- Keep the formality similar. Dresses next to hoodies looks accidental in a group photo; everyone in sundresses or everyone in casual separates looks planned.
- Leave the large logos at the hotel. Plain fabrics photograph better and the pictures date less quickly.
- Wear shoes you can walk in. Lisbon’s old streets are steep and cobbled, and a session is a walk.
Our guide on what to wear for a photoshoot in Lisbon in every season covers fabrics and colours month by month. Start a group chat a week before and share a few photos of your outfits; it takes five minutes and fixes most clashes.
What is the best time of day for a group photoshoot in Lisbon?
Early morning and late afternoon give the softest light, and the centre is calmer in the morning. Our sessions run daily between 09:00 and 20:00, and sunset moves a lot over the year, so the best start time depends on your month.
These are the monthly figures listed by Solarwatch for Lisbon in 2026, as of October 2026. In midsummer the sun sets after our 20:00 finish, so an evening session means late-afternoon light rather than a sunset. From November to January the sun is down before 17:30, so a start around 15:30 to 16:00 catches the golden hour.
Can we fit a photoshoot into a hen weekend or girls trip?
Yes, and it is easier than it sounds. Plan one hour for the first or second morning, between breakfast and the afternoon plans. Everyone is rested, the light is soft and you will have the pictures before you fly home.
Choose 60 minutes for groups of up to about six, and 90 minutes when there are eight or more of you, since a bigger group simply takes longer to arrange and move. Send the gallery link to the whole group afterwards so everyone has the same set.
Bringing a veil, a sash or matching accessories? Bring them along and we will photograph them. The session itself is our standard one, with everything included as described above.
Choose a length, a date and a number of people and we will check availability for your trip.
Plan your group sessionHow do I book a group photoshoot in Lisbon?
- Choose. Pick the session length, the location and the date on the booking page, or select “Surprise me” to let us choose the location.
- Count heads. Tell us how many people are coming, up to 10, so everything is right from the start.
- Reserve. Message us to check availability, or pay by card to reserve the slot.
- Confirm and receive. We confirm the details with you on WhatsApp, and your edited private gallery arrives within 7 days of the session.
If you want to see how a typical session runs first, the Lisbon photographer page shows it, and our guide to what to expect from a natural photoshoot walks through the session itself.
What if it rains, or the group changes at the last minute?
If the weather is clearly unfavourable, we reschedule at no extra cost. We decide together the evening before, so nobody stands at a viewpoint in the rain. With a group, a spare day in your itinerary makes this easy to solve.
If the number of people changes, tell us before the day so we can confirm the details and choose a place that fits the new group size. Everything is arranged on WhatsApp, where you can reach us at any point.
