We’re not comfortable in front of cameras — will it show?
Almost every couple says this. The session is designed to not feel like a photoshoot — we walk, talk, explore a location together. The camera captures what’s already there between the two of you. Most couples forget it’s there within the first few minutes.
How much does a couples photography session in Portugal cost?
Sessions start at €150 for 30 minutes, €200 for 60 minutes (most popular), and €300 for 90 minutes. All include location planning, direction and gallery delivery. A printed album is available as a +€150 add-on.
What is the best location for couple photos in Portugal?
Lisbon is the most versatile — viewpoints, riverside and streets. Sintra is ideal for a romantic, fairytale feel. Cascais is the most dramatic — ocean cliffs at sunset. All three are within 40 minutes of each other and each creates completely different photos.
What should we wear for a couples photoshoot in Portugal?
Complementary rather than matching — similar tones work better than identical colours. Avoid very busy patterns. Dress for how you’d normally dress on a nice evening out together. Comfort matters — if you’re uncomfortable in what you’re wearing, it’ll show.
Is this good for honeymoons and anniversaries?
Absolutely — these are actually the most common occasions. Honeymoons in particular work beautifully because the emotion is real and present. We’ve photographed honeymoons across all three locations and the results are always among the most heartfelt sessions.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for spring and autumn. Golden-hour windows fill quickly in April, May, September and October. A few weeks’ notice usually works, but earlier gives more flexibility on location and timing.
